About

Veterans of California exists to fine-tune and centralize the resources already serving our military families — while filling in the gaps. We are a hub for California veterans, service members, spouses, and family members, active duty or post service, built to connect our community with opportunities, resources, education, and the ability to learn and share their voice across the legislative landscape.

We also exist to engage employers and help them become military-friendly companies. We provide free consultation on military program implementation, military employee resource groups, and practical steps to build a more military-friendly workplace — generating a stronger, more robust workforce for our service members and their spouses.

A message from our founder

I have always believed that things can be better. Throughout my time in military service — and in the years since, walking alongside our heroes and their family members as they navigated benefits, programs, and paperwork — I kept noticing the same need: a place that seamlessly connects our community to everything, all at once, while giving them a way to express their own voice to the people who need to hear it most.

That is why we created Veterans of California. We want you — the veteran, the military spouse, the family member — to have the knowledge, the resources, and the ability to enrich your quality of life. As the state home to more veterans than almost anywhere in the country, we have a promise to keep: to serve our heroes and those who support them.
